The New York State Attorney General's Charities Bureau is responsible for overseeing the administration and solicitation of charitable assets in New York.  The Charities Bureau works to ensure that the assets of charitable organizations are properly used and that donors and beneficiaries of those assets are protected from unscrupulous practices.


At our next monthly meeting, Executive Deputy Attorney General Mylan Denerstein will describe the Attorney General’s role in overseeing charitable organizations and protecting the interests of the people of the State of New York who provide support to and receive services from those organizations.
