JOHN P. GLEASON, CFRE

President and Principal

John P. Gleason, CFRE is a nationally and internationally certified fund raising executive with more than thirty years of development experience. He has worked on the planning and management of eleven major campaign efforts with an aggregate total in excess of $430,000,000.

 

Mr. Gleason has been President and Principal of E.D.A/ Gleason a consulting firm that specializes in the development of Gift Planning and Endowment Development Programs. Since 2005 he has been Director of Planned Giving for The Empire State Division of the Salvation Army. Previously he has served as Vice President for Institutional Advancement and Assistant to the President at Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School and Bexley Hall Seminary. He has also served as Vice President for Development for Rochester’s Al Sigl Center for Rehabilitation Agencies. He has held a variety of administrative and development posts at Niagara University, Syracuse University, Rochester Institute of Technology and United Way of Greater Rochester, New York and has developed fundraising and educational programs for United Way of America and The Association of Fundraising Professionals.
